One Voice Concert

UMHB One Voice performs its fall program in the McLane Great Hall in the Bawcom Student Union.  Drawing from a variety of genres, the concert will feature Thomas Tallis’ moving motet, Salvator Mundi, paired with Will Todd’s newly composed My Lord Has Come.  A complete change of mood ensues with six riveting Barbershop tags followed by the mellow 40’s jazz number I Wish You Love.  The premier of conductor Matt Crosby’s composition for his youngest child Chloe concludes a five-song set written in the last ten years, one song for each of his children.  Other numbers include a contemporary hymn setting of Higher Ground and the Moses Hogan spiritual I Got a Home in-a Dat Rock.
