Evghenii Sologubenco hails from Chisinau, Moldova. Born an ethnic Jew, he considered himself to be Christian for many years because he had been baptized in the Russian Orthodox Church during secondary school. In an earlier season of life, he was recruited in 1993 to go to Kishinev Bible Church and beat up a 25 year old man. Instead of beating up that man, God used Kishinev Bible Church to introduce him to Jesus. Evghenii is a graduate of Moldova Bible Seminary (BA, 1999) and TCMI Institute (MA, 2014; MDiv, 2023). He is now Teaching Pastor at Kishinev Bible Church and President of Moldova Bible Seminary.
