Dr. Julio Guarneri serves as Executive Director for Texas Baptists. Born in Mexico City and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, he earned a BS from Texas A&I University, MA from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and PhD in Leadership Studies from Dallas Baptist University. He served in pastoral ministry from 39 years before starting his current role. His passion is to make disciples who make disciples, living out a holistic mission that brings the gospel to bear on the whole person and the whole community for the whole world. He and his wife, Monica, have four adult children and three grandchildren.
