Jason joined the UMHB family in August 2019 as Dean of Spiritual Life and University Chaplain. He is an ordained Baptist minister, retired U.S. Army Chaplain, PhD Senior Resident at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary majoring in Christian Leadership, and Senior Chaplain for Williamson County Sheriff's Office. He has been married to his college sweetheart, Christie, for 24 years. They have four sons and are active members of First Baptist Georgetown.
