Marvin is a husband and a daddy of kids ages 7, 6 & 4

After graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters in Christian Leadership, he planted Watermark Community Church in South Dallas by the Texas State Fair and has been the pastor there for 4 years.

In addition to his pastoral ministry, Marvin is in his 4th season as chaplain for the Dallas Mavericks.

His journey, however, didn’t begin in ministry, it began on the football field. 

Just weeks before his NFL pro day, he heard the gospel, a moment that forever changed the direction of his life. From football to faith to learning to live by grace, Marvin treasures his walk with Jesus and seeks to bring praise to the King who saved him.
