Chapel - Heath Peloquin
Heath Peloquin serves as the Director of Missions at the North Texas Baptist Association. Prior to coming to the NTBA, he was Director of Church/Minister Relations for the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention where he provided encouragement, mentoring, and strategic planning for 2,600 ministers serving in churches of all sizes.
During this time, he also served on the Executive Board of Trustees of the North American Mission Board as Chairman of the West Region, served in multiple interim pastorate positions, pastored for youth camps, and led multiple revivals and marriage seminars. Prior to accepting the SBTC responsibilities, Heath served as Senior Pastor in Corpus Christi for 6-1/2 years.
God has gifted Heath with tremendous enthusiasm and passion for the lost. His faithfulness to the Word of God and his whimsical communication style make his presentations both powerful and engaging. He is uniquely gifted to clearly communicate the gospel to all ages. He possesses the rare qualities of an evangelist heart, faithfulness to God’s word, and the ability to relate to all he meets.
Heath completed a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1996 and 2004 respectively. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, to be completed in December 2018. Heath and his wife, Jennifer, have been married 20 years; they have four children.
