Chapel 7 - Adam Greenway

Adam W. Greenway is the ninth president of The Southwestern Baptist Theological seminary, having been elected in February of 2019 after serving nearly six years as the dean of the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He earned his Master of Divinity in 2002 from Southwestern and is the first alumnus to serve in the role of president in almost three decades. He also holds degrees from Samford University (Bachelor of Arts), the University of Notre Dame (Master of Nonprofit Administration), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Doctor of Philosophy). Dr. Greenway’s past denominational experience involves both the state and national levels, including serving as president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention, chairman of the SBC Committee on Order of Business, and chairman of the Board of Trustees for Lifeway Christian Resources. He is married to Carla, who is also a Southwestern graduate, and they have two children, Wade and Caroline.
