The Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor pageant has a rich history on campus and has been a treasured tradition at UMHB since the 1950s. Classes, student organizations and residence halls select representatives and then judges interview the contestants, listen to their platforms, and evaluate them on the group dance, individual talent and evening gown stroll. The winner is then crowned Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor for the next school year and has the opportunity to implement her platform on campus and in the surrounding community.
