The UMHB Alumni Association is excited to offer some summer LUNCH & LEARN opportunities for our alumni and friends. Bring your lunch and join us to learn a new skill or to improve your craft. The first opportunity will be on June 11 and will focus on sourdough. Yvette Shackelford, administrative assistant for Student Life and owner of Banky Branch Farm, will share her expertise with artisanal sourdough. She will walk you through how to care for a starter and bake a simple loaf of bread. All participants will walk away with their starter to make sourdough at home.

Lunch & Learn is a relaxed event at the alumni center. Bring your lunch to enjoy throughout the class. You will get a confirmation email with added details, and if there is anything specific you need to bring. Space is limited, so sign up today.
